Our community is a very colourful one. We have some very interesting habits, and we’re here for all of it.
Sex is great. We want it, we need it, we do it. We also know that sometimes you might have some concerns about it. But there’s no need to take the fun out of “fun”. All you have to do is prepare yourself – and we’re here to look out for you as you do it.

If you’re interested to leave a mark on our community, we offer many opportunities to do so.
PrEP POINT
PrEP Points take HIV testing and counselling out of the clinic and into a private and safe space. Through them, we aim to offer a more personal approach to testing and counselling, in a setting that is familiar and comfortable for everyone.
A PrEP Point is hosted by an Advocate, whose duties would be:
- To provide a safe space where HIV tests and counselling sessions can take place;
- To administer HIV tests using rapid and easy-to-use test kits;
- To provide confidential and non-judgmental counselling and advice, including pre- and post-test counselling, safe sex, PrEP, STD treatment, physical and emotional wellbeing, responsible chem fun (CF) practice, and living with HIV.
Advocates receive a monthly allowance, a portion of the fee for each consultation, a free rapid HIV test every six months, and members-only privileges, like e-Shop and partner discounts and priority access to our events.
The PrEP Point experience is not just enlightening and valuable for the people you will meet, but also for yourself as an Advocate.
VOLUNTEER / INTERNSHIP
As a TAKE CHARGE TODAY volunteer or intern, you’ll be working at the nerve center of this exciting initiative. You’ll be hard at work on the various aspects that keep this project running. But you won’t be overwhelmed with too much work – our team works smart and plays smart too.
If you have a passion in helping out the community and possess skill sets that are beneficial to our initiative, including in research, data collection, digital and social content production, and event management, we’d love to hear from you.
BLOG CONTRIBUTION
Our community is an extremely diverse one. Everyone has their own story, and their own take on things – and we’d like to share them! The TAKE CHARGE TODAY blog covers a lot of ground, from sexual health all the way to lifestyle and culture. If you have an article, a pitch, or even just an idea, share it with us and we’ll work on it together.
